For this project, we mainly went live action, and shot a physical prototype of the console. Before the shoot on set, our team took a 3D model of the console and developed several unique 3D camera moves making sure to have all the coverage we needed, plus some extra. The 3D camera moves were then passed to a motion-controlled camera rig on set that was able to replicate all our moves with the physical products.
I also developed the transitional effect from original PS1 to the PS Classic. This went through several iterations, and some unique challenges presented themselves going from 3D CGI PS1 to Live Action PS Classic.
