Tasked with conceptualizing redesigns for PS Plus branding, I focused on the end lockup design and animation, with the goal of visually conveying the growth of a large entertainment library. The animation highlights the two unique free games offered each month within the hero cube. The project was designed for efficiency, allowing any artist to easily open the After Effects project and update the hero cube by simply replacing the game cover images inside a pre-comp. Using a UV Remap After Effects plugin, the new images were then automatically wrapped around the cube, making updates automatic, fast and seamless.Â
