Our Oculus Studios Virtual Production Team was tasked with developing a Iron Man VR commercial for Meta Quest under a tight budget and quick turn around. After some quick brainstorming, we immediately jumped into Unreal Engine to start mapping out some ideas, camera angles, actions and transitions. Within a week or 2 we had a fully timed out previz of the commercial we intended to shoot live action with full VFX. This was a huge time saver for our pre production and live action crews, as we all knew what we needed and what to expect. Over the next couple weeks we supervised and led a small team to produce the final renders, providing project files, animations, material guidance, scenes, and lighting direction.
